INCLUSIVE stands for Including New Communities of Learners Using Socially Inclusive Virtual Environments. Formed at Ecorys' Contact Seminar in Brighton in November 2010, the partnership was built between 8 very different organisations involved in the use of social media in lifelong learning from 8 EU member states and ran between 2011 and 2013. The partner organisations are:
- INSIGNARE - Fatima, Portugal - a large, regional vocational college
- ALADIN: Advice and Resources for Learning - Riga, Latvia - a learning consultancy and adult learning provider
- Kaunas Adult Education Centre - Kaunas, Lithuania - a local adult education institution
- Volkshochschulverbund Baden-Wurttemberg - Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany - a regional federation of community colleges
- Cartrefi Cymru Cyf. - Bangor, Wales (UK) - a national social care provider hosting a Wales Union Learning Fund lifelong learning project organised by Unison
- Foundation for School Healthcare - Gyor, Hungary - a national charity supporting people working in school healthcare
- Centre of Continuing and Practical Education - Zielona Gora, Poland - a local adult and vocational education provider
- College of Media and Journalism - Prague, Czech Republic - a higher education institution focusing on media and journalism
Both WULF projects work together to support lifelong learning in public service workplaces in Wales and have a keen interest in the use of digital technologies to support and enhance learning experiences at work. Together, the two projects and their host organisations will work to disseminate the fantastic achievements of the INCLUSIVE partnership to ensure it has a lasting impact on teaching and learning practice in Wales and beyond.
